I've been told they are trying to go for a yongeur audience and kill off the old franchise. Seeing that Sam Raimi's were more about the human aspect of Peter's struggles and less about the action. This one is more along the lines of the altered comic of Spider-man Unlimited. So a lot of things are new and updated. As opposed to Stan's Spidey. I don't look forward to it, just cause it's not what I grew up with. But then, I lived through the live action Scooby-Doo Movies. Velma is not a hot chic, and she liked the company of parking in the garage if you know what I mean. Not fucking Shaggy.

@Jaan Black, I happen to agree with you about Lindsay Lohan and her saggy t*ts except for the remark about her having 55 year old t*ts. I am 55 and mine stand a lot higher than hers and mine are all real. Its the drugs and booze and implants that have made hers saggy!!!
