Halle Berry Fleeing U.S. Due to Death Threats?

Halle Berry does not want to move to France with young daughter Nahla and fiance Olivier Martinez to spite Gabriel Aubry - she fears for her life, according to reports.

TMZ reports that Halle is motivated by security in asking a judge for permission to move to France with Nahla - something Gabriel Aubry is trying to block.

There have apparently been serious threats to Halle's life - from one man in particular - and she feels the move out of the country is a life or death situation.

Halle Berry Close Up

Robert Hoskins, a mentally unstable man, escaped from a mental institution last week and has made threats against Halle, specifically to "slit her throat."

Hoskins threatened to slit Madonna's throat in the past and was actually shot by her bodyguard in 1995 after he trespassed onto the pop star's property.

As if that weren't enough, another stalker who recently trespassed onto Halle's property multiple times in the past has just been released from jail.

Halle is particularly concerned because Starmaps and some Hollywood bus tours literally take tourists to her doorstep, and it freaks her out.

The actress is also concerned that Gabriel Aubry, Nahla's father, is parading in front of paparazzi almost daily and possibly putting her at risk.

A judge has yet to rule on her request to skip town.

Anybody writing negative comments are crazy. If you read the article carefully it say they tried shit before and that fans go right up to her. My Aunt got stabbed and died opening the door to the next door neighbor. You don't risk it. Call her scared all you want but if you were in her shoes you would wanna be in witness protection.People are fucken pshyco

I'm stunned....STUNNED....at the hateful comments here. Shame on you. You have no real information and you "hate" her? No wonder she wants to leave the country. Grow up people!

Why not another U.S. city? She shouldn't let a mentally insane person scare her away.

I have no idea what it must be like to know that this dangerous man has escaped but she can't leave just like that because this little girl has to see his father but not alone she has to be with another person and her father and NOT in his home but in a very public place.

But who is going to protect her and her child against the other two men that is what is scarey to me.

What I want to know the one that escaped from the mental hospital how long ago did he escape?

LET'S GET REAL!!! DO YOU THINK "FLEEING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY" IS GOING TO SAVE HER ASS?? BABY-DADDY GOT PLANE FARE, YOU KNOW!!!

Halle is using this stalker as an excuse to take the child away from the father. My ex was always looking for an excuse to do the same - sick, with no regard for the daughter's feelings.
From Halle's first marriage to the pro baseball player dissolved because right after she married she would start screaming at him on a daily basis to using the sexist family courts to remove the daughter from the father (even tho he has shown to be a great dad) Halle's has got some narcissitic issues.

We all know that the only reason she wants to move to another country is to keep Gabriel at arms length. I can't stand the bitch. Good riddance. I feel bad for Gabriel and Nahla though.
