Christina Aguilera wants to make it abundantly clear: she thoroughly enjoys her body. Critics be damned!
A couple days after telling reporters that she loves her curves, excerpts from an interview the singer gave to Marie Claire have leaked online, in which she once again says:
“I’ve been through my highs, I’ve been through my lows; I’ve been through the gamut of all things in this business. Being too thin. Being bigger. I’ve been criticized for being on both sides of the scale. It’s noise I block out automatically. I love my body. My boyfriend loooves my body. My son is healthy and happy, so that’s all that matters to me.”
Speaking of little Max, Christina admits single parenthood can be a "struggle," but doesn't blame her ex, Jordan Bratman. She labels him a "devoted father" and adds:
"We always make sure that we put Max first. I have help from family and good people around me in support of my career. I couldn’t do what I do without a strong team behind me.”

@Hypo: Yeah but in modern times corsets aren't worn just to make a person look thinner. Now they're seen as sexy and are used to spice up outfits. Even skinny women wear them. It's no big deal. Besides, stars don't have full control of what they wear in magazine photoshoots anyway.
@meg: You have no proof that her weight gain was caused by alcohol abuse.

She's not a model, she's not a dancer, she's not an athlete, she's not unhealthy- so whats the problem? I think she's a good role model for young girls; they wont have to be anorexic if they want to look like her!

Christina looks fabulous! She is her own strong woman and makes her own decisions regarding her weight. She looks healthly, unlike the gaunt, anorexic hollywood actresses.
Just like Jessica Simpson a while back, the media loves to feed on these situations. This is real life and in real life people are not 98lbs so they fit in with the hollywood stereotypes. Good for you Christina, stay the way you are!
