It's been a crazy few weeks of celebrity breakups, but Tony Romo was unfazed by it. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback got engaged to Candice Crawford!
Romo popped the question while celebrating her 24th birthday on Thursday. Candice Crawford is a sports reporter for KDAF ... the CW station in Dallas.
Appropriately, they first reported the engagement.
Oh, and Candice is the younger sister of Gossip Girl star Chace!
A former Miss Missouri, Candice began dating Tony Romo about a year ago. They've kept a fairly low profile since. She and Chace are Dallas-area natives.
Romo is now the second Jessica Simpson ex to get engaged in the last month. Eric Johnson also put a ring on Jessica Simpson, so she can't feel too awful.

Can someone explain to me why some straight women refuse to use their gaydar? Hello, Tony Romo is probably boning her brother, Chase Crawford. This woman, Candice Crawford, is a beautiful pseudo celeb, she should start dating handsome straight men like... (Okay, someone help me out here.)
I am supportive of gay issues, but I am always so bothered by some straight women being in denial about their gay boyfriends, lovers, and husbands. What is that about? Clue workshop needs to be scheduled here and pronto.

Maybe for a wedding present, I'll send him a t-shirt that says, "Nobody Knows I'm Gay". I wouldn't be surprised if Tony Romo suggests anal sex (to his future wife) as a form of birth control.
